The only thing of Angelina’s we want more than her pout and her ‘life partner’ is her knack for perfecting the sexy cat’s-eye  liner flick.

We’ve tried and tried to do this ourselves in the past, with nearly every liquid liner under the sun, but we still look like a five-year-old has scribbled on our face. Sigh!

Enter Canadian make-up artist David Goveia who has spilled the beans on what we were doing wrong.

Apparently the trick is to follow the natural line of your eyes (*slaps forehead*), for most of us this means rather than trying to flick up and out at the ends like you’d think, instead you actually sweep the liner slightly down and across.

Give it a try, it makes lopsided swooshes a thing of the past and means you can now cat’s eye with the best of them.

So now if he’d only tell us a needle-free way to plump out pout and land ourselves a Brad and we’ll be set.
